Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
Scott Griffith Architects (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through griffith-architects.com (the “Site”), how we use and safeguard it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
01Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you complete our contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, the project type you select, and any details you include in your message. You provide this information voluntarily.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and security network automatically record limited technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit. This helps us keep the Site secure and running reliably.
02How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your project
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Site
- Keep records of our correspondence and comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
04Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the Site. Each processes limited data under its own privacy policy:
- FormSubmit — delivers our contact-form submissions to our email inbox. FormSubmit forwards your message and does not use it for any other purpose. See the FormSubmit Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — provides content delivery, DNS, and security/DDoS protection, and processes IP addresses to protect the Site. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the Site; your browser requests these from Google, which may receive your IP address. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Unsplash — serves certain photographs; your browser requests these from Unsplash, which may receive your IP address. See the Unsplash Privacy Policy.
06Data Retention
We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain reasonable business records, after which they are deleted. FormSubmit does not permanently store submissions — they are forwarded to our inbox and removed from its servers.
07Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption across the entire Site and a security network positioned in front of it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and to opt out of certain uses.
- EEA / United Kingdom (GDPR). Our legal bases for processing your contact-form data are your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
09Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10Links to Other Websites
The Site may contain links to external websites that we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
